RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

The Return Policy described below applies only to online purchases made through PhlajaBoutique.com.  We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from PhlajaBoutique.com.  However, if you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item for a store credit. We will gladly accept returns that meet the following requirements:
  • Items are returned in sellable condition, unworn and unaltered with all tags attached, accompanied by an original invoice, and in the original packaging.  
  • Return is initiated and postmarked within 5 days of the shipment delivery date.
The following are FINAL SALE and are ineligible for a return: all custom and sale items, promotional merchandise, items in conjunction with a fundraising campaign, special event, E-Gift Certificates, accessories, headwear, and items after the 5th day following the shipment date.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.  We will automatically deduct the shipping & handling fee from your refund.  
RETURNS ARE INSPECTED AND PROCESSED WITHIN 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS
Returns are inspected and processed by our returns department within 5-7 business days of receipt. We are not responsible for items that are damaged or lost during return shipping, therefore adequate packaging and insurance are recommended. After a successful inspection of the return a store credit is issued and you will receive an email confirmation. We do not accept returns if they arrive in any condition other than their original state or if they are past our 5-day return period. They will be sent back to you.  If you reject that return shipment, Phlaja Boutique reserves the right to liquidate the inventory and withhold your credit. If we identify through electronic analysis an unreasonable return pattern, we may restrict or refuse future transactions from such customers.
RETURN PROCESS: 
If you need to return an item, simply use our easy online return process. 
  1. Go to My Account, and login to your account.
  2. View the order using the Completed Orders link under the My Account menu.
  3. Select Return Item(s) next to the item.
  4. Complete the Return Request and click Submit Return Request.
Upon submission you will receive a return request e-mail notification.  After your return request is reviewed by Customer Care you will receive a return request status update e-mail notification.  All returns must be approved by our Customer Care Representative.  Returns received without approval will not be issued a store credit. 
EXCHANGE POLICY:

Due to our limited quantities and high demand of our products, we are unable to offer exchanges on any items.  Returned merchandise will be processed for a STORE CREDIT ONLY.

We recommend purchasing the new desired item, and then shipping back the returned product to ensure you do not miss out on the item.

ORDERS USING PROMOTION OR DISCOUNT CODES:
Any discounts that you received through your use of a promotion or discount code shall be maintained when crediting the amount of money you paid for a returned product. You will be credited the individual product price less the discount amount. 
If your purchase entitled you to a free gifted based on the total of your order, and your return drops the total of your order below the free gift threshold, we ask that you return the gift. If you would like to keep the gift, we will charge you the value of the gift, as it is stated on the free gift offer. 
ORDERS SENT AS GIFTS
If you send someone a gift, and it is returned, the credit for the gift will be provided in the form of a store credit to the recipient of the gift.  
WRONG, DAMAGED, OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT:                      
If your merchandise is received damaged or defective contact Customer Care immediately.  If the damage is the result of a manufacturing defect we will gladly issue a full refund, replace your product with the same style and size, if available, or issue a merchandise credit for a replacement of comparable value if the style or size returned is no longer available, along with complimentary return standard shipping, once the damaged merchandise is returned.   
We do not replace damaged or defective merchandise that was damaged by abuse or negligence (exposure to chemicals, caustic substances, open flame, high heat, sharp objects, etc.) or products that were damaged by misuse or activities other than the intended purpose of the product.
